That is not as daft as it sounds. For years the IRA was legal in N Ireland on the grounds that they would just change their name if they were banned.
I don't agree with the justification she gives though. There is also the issue of where does your money go if you are paying a membership fee.

We have a green council here in Brighton and Hove. Oh dear, big mistake. Hopefully, they'll be gone in May at our local council elections. So many people thought the idea of the Greens was a good idea. I don't think anybody does now.
