///But if they do actually manage to return to this country they should be very harshly treated, so as to set an example to others///

What do you have in mind AOG?
How did children get a flight to Turkey ?
Maybe parents gave passport consent thinking the lying toads were on a school trip?

no one that's dim surely Tambo? On any school trip there's reems of correspondences between parents and schools before the kids even go anywhere.
The parents must be complicit then, Boo
Other people's passports. Assisted by the handy ruse of a bin-bag to hide their true identity?
That's not what I was implying Tambo, I was just stating that i'd pretty much rule out the "maybe they told their parents it was a school trip" scenario.
"The girls were last seen at their homes on Tuesday morning when they gave their parents plausible reasons to be out for the day" police said.
Turkish Airlines were complicit in not questioning the girls and allowing minors on their flight......
1) Bought airline tickets, no problems
2) Walked through passport and security at airport, no problems
3) Obtained Turkish Visa, no problems
4) Entered Turkey, no problems

Awful lot of 'checks' not working aren't there?

I'll bet they've kept their UK passports, just in case their dreams fail. Their UK passports should be immediately cancelled.
Minors are allowed to travel in flights DT. In fact, at 15 they are not considered unaccompanied minors.
They aren't children.
The 15 year old is though, or at least considered so in the eyes of the law.
They aren't considered a child at 15.

If a 15 year old leaves home they will not be returned if they are safe and well.

A court will take a childs point of view from about the age of 12.

The age of criminal responsibility is 10.

They are not children....they are young adults.
Here are the IATA linked guidelines.....

Apparently, Turkish Airlines has been questioned. (Radio 4)
How in heavens name were three young Arab looking girls allowed to board the same plane to fly to Turkey...were there no alarm bells ringing?? There seems to be a need of more up to date boarding gate training. This is where they could have been stopped...or at check in. It beggars belief!
Unaccompanieds are 12 years or under. There used to be a category called YP (young persons) which applied from 12 to 17 but mainly doesn`t exist now. A 15 year old can travel on their own.
Blimey? Really? When I went on holiday on my own (well group of us) aged 16 some 30 (eek!) years ago I had to have written permission from my mum!
From link:-

///BBC home affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said it was "absolutely extraordinary" that four girls from the same year at the same school had travelled to Syria, with the apparent aim of joining IS.///

It is extraordinary. Overall, 600 from the UK, very extraordinary indeed. IS again clearly winning the propaganda battle....
As if its not easy enough already to come and go here, filth like ISIS probably cant wait for turkey to become EU members.....

think its bad here now, just wait and see, you aint seen nothing yet !...
