Good morning

Now the dust has settled on our last fall-out, and we have had time to calm down and reflect, I would like to extend the hand of friendship once again, and offer my apologies for any offence caused during our last few heated exchanges.

Life is too short to bear grudges, and we are too old and experienced to allow ourselves to behave in a less than mature and civilised fashion.

We have always climbed over our anger with each other, drawn a line, and moved on, and I hope we can do so once again.

Best,

A-H.

Thank you AOG - much appreciated.

On to the next one!
I do like happy endings ! Well done both of you !
Although it is true that we have completely different views on many subjects, but as TWR has kindly pointed out it is the snide and sarcastic replies that annoys, which always set the pack off and then things are said which later we come to regret.

So you are blaming others for your remarks that you later regret?

The purpose of this thread was for me to convey my apologies to AOG, draw a line, and move on.

AOG has been gracious in accepting my apology, and offering his own, which I have been happy to accept.

The point is to draw a line, and trying to draw out more arguments is not going to help - so I suggest we just leave it there.
Everytime you say that to a poster I think ...passive aggressive.
It sounds like a threat, andy

I assure you it is not a threat - as my post says, it is a suggestion - nothing more.

Since the purpose of the thread is to draw a line under existing hostilities, it hardly behoves me to pick a fight with another AB'er does it?
andy...you have done your bit....now ignore the the others on here...pure mischief making.
Andy/ Aog, you are both a credit to the site, do not get drawn in!!!!!!!!! It is not worth it as I have found.

\\\\.now ignore the the others on here.\\\

You mean like Talbot and sqad who have different "takes" on this thread?
AOG should accept responsibility for his own post, it is farcical to blame others.
Well done both of you, I love a happy endings, keep on debating your posts make it really two sided.
Is it National Luvvy-Duvvy Day? I thought that was ten days ago....

If you have different views to his Sqad, he stops talking to you!
Sqad...No, of course I don't want to stifle debate, but this post was a personal one by andy and he and aog have buried the hatchet, so why can't we leave it there and move on ?

There is no shortage of new topics we could be debating, without trying to reopen old wounds. You are a reasonable chap Sqad, and I am sure you understand that !
Are the fecking schools on Holiday? good god children.
Sqad you naughty little stirrer

in terms of Never apologise Never explain ( Jackie Fisher letter to the Times ), you know that the GMC are keen

that when demi Gods such as youself are wrong or mistaken ( my God how often is THAT ? ) you should apologise

[ sourcce most recent GMC manual ]

\\\but this post was a personal one by andy and he and aog \\\

Maybe, but so "personal" that it goes "worldwide" for everyone to read............not my definition of "personal."

Baldric

\\\\\if you have different views to his Sqad, he stops talking to you!\\\\

and this is the problem here......one stops talking and the other can't stop talking.............this will not be changed by an apology.
why is this in 'news' topic.
PP.....advice from the MDU......."explain, but never admit liability until the insurer has been contacted.

But this has nothing to do with this thread.
