I don't mean the traveling costs but the barriers that stop immigrants and travelers from going wherever they want to?

Anyone should be able to travel to anywhere whenever they like and live there if they feel like it's the right place to them.

No one owns the globe do they? Who has the right to tell me I can't travel and settle down wherever I feel like.

What would be the pros and cons of this new system in your opinion?

Remember no alcohol,Bro......
I'd love to know where he/she's going. Imagine half a dozen of them giving out. It'd be fracking hilarious.

Sounds like a Mutual Admiration Society to me.
It would be nice but impractical. Any nation trying hard and achieving would attract many to go there, who in turn would destroy what was hard won. No one owns the world ? One cound claim the same about everything. Property is theft etc.. But that ruins all incentive. Nations have the right to control what goes on inside its borders; and that will remain so until the whole globe is one natio , one culture, one shared set of beliefs.

Just be patient OG, The Muslims are coming!

Well done. You have the dubious distinction of getting 126 answers on the News site to a thread that wasn't news.
You achieved about 5-6 answers to the op with regard to fairyland. The other answers seemed to be rather derisive and ridiculed you.
Well as the saying goes."No use growing old if you don't get clever."
Now which village has been deprived I wonder?
I can't be bothered to read all the answers but I agree with ichkeria on page one.

Instead let's work to make the bad places better

I ploughed though all this. Surprised that most of you bothered to stick with it, but I guess you were having fun :)
Going back to your early post
"If I were rich and powerful"
I am not and suppose most others on here are not either
We are the ones who pay to support immigrants if they are in need, not all are.
Think you should not put immigrants and travellers together.

fender @ 19:13, as an ex serviceman you would be surprised how many people I'm acquainted with who say similar!

has anyone said that that was the travel system in the last days of the British Empire ( 1890-1900 )

you just got on a boat and went

In India your servants travelled on the train free.
One little angel is recorded at Woking saying in a loud voice
Mummy why hasnt the train driver asked if he can go ?
and Mummy reminded the little memsahib that they werent in India now
Well, that was most interesting. Thank you Broseph, what an enlightening idea. How the world would change if it followed your proposal.
Maybe AB needs a new "topic" to post under.
"Inane Ideas To Have A Friendly Discussion About".
I for one would love it.
PeterP, there are still servants but the memsahibs are hindus & p@k1 from UK

/// please tell me how to move this as I can't seem to have this function in my profile. ///

There is no 'free movement' in AB, do you wish to change that also?

/// Yes if I had became a multi trillionaire through generations of stealing, starting wars and invading these very people. It would be the least i could do would it not? ///

It is little wonder that with your obvious anti-British mindset that you also want to destroy this wonderful country of ours further.

/// Most of the tom,*** and abduls I know come here to work and at the same time enrich us with their culture and foods. ///

Ah that old chestnut again, obviously you know very few tom,*** and abduls.
Pros and Cons to whole world free movement:
Pros: There would be world-wide peace throughout the world.
There would be no famine or drought.
No mass immigration to smaller nations.
World over population brought under control.

Cons: The population of the world will no longer exist. Take your pick. Uncontrolled and unchecked E-Bola or Aids, TB,Polio et al.
Still it will lessen the worry of a nuclear holocaust. Plenty of other pleasantries to wipe us out through a world-wide come and go as you please policy.
