I good result for the Tories for sure. A bad result in Scotland where what is hopefully a consolation vote has produced a clear lack of UK unity and the risk of polarising opinion in each country.

With a Tory majority there is now greater risk to the NHS. UKIP did less well that hoped in terms of seats but hopefully the swell in vote percentage will send a message.

Libs & Labour licking wounds this time around. Lib voters prefer to call from the sidelines rather than prop up others so may well have deserted in protest and achieving something. I don't know why Labour did not do better; the SNP is part of it, but even with them they didn't do as well as they should have. Maybe folk still recall their past controlling policies such as ID cards and the like.
