That arrogance works both ways .Some of our guests hate us but are happy to live off our benefits.Is it right to be told to cover one self from head to toe in one's own country by a "guest" in Tower Hamlets? Is it right to be told you cant walk in this area in the UK because it is a Sharia Law controlled area? Is that not arrogance?

A good point that you make, but it appears on the "world stage" that the English do indeed have the top spot for arrogance.

I am not so sure arrogance is the correct word.I would of gone to Malaya for a holiday in the naive belief that this country was an up and coming progressive country as is Singapore.
I would be ignorant of the fact that it really is a third world backward country which is governed by men who almost believe in Black Magic.
I am sure this group meant no disrespect any more than stripping down to their cozzies on a cycle ride up Mt Toro.
