This man is somewhat out of date and needs to modernise his opinions

Breastfeeding in public is natural.

I've seen women breastfeed - am not bothered. It's completely unremarkable.
Quite right, sp, there is nothing remarkable about a boob, especially a boob you can't see because a baby is in the way.
I can honestly say that I know of two places where I have noticed women breastfeeding - at a playgroup and at a soft play centre (kind of a Mecca for it). I fed thing 1 and 2 exclusively (as I didn't return to work) and there was no way I wasn't leaving the house so I may well have upset people of a sensitive nature. *** happens - I've got stuff I don't want to see, but I do.
Knowing me, Alan Partridge knowing you, Alex Dyke. AHAA
I don't often see mothers breastfeeding...or maybe I don't notice them....

It's men scratching and adjusting their bits that makes me crawl..... especially those who do the P.C.Plod knee bend at the same time......☺
That knee bend is sometimes essential for unsticking the clackers from a manly thigh, gness. :-P
Perhaps doing it behind a discreet pinny then, Douglas..... ;-)
On the flip side I also don't like the positive affirmations either - I was sitting in a quiet corner of some museum in London feeding one of mine (v discretely, practically in the dark) and a lady congratulated me - really irritated me for some reason (might have been the tone of voice and the 'well done you!).
Nice one. Douglas. Been there, got the T shirt.
It is a bit odd that most of the intenet is given over to adults chowing down and more but the world blows a fuse when the cheb's used for the purpose it's there for.

Is that one 'for' too many?
// That knee bend is sometimes essential for unsticking the clackers from a manly thigh, gness. :-P //

Made me guffaw :-)
I'm fairly old but I can count the number of times I've seen women breastfeeding in public on the fingers of one hand, and on each occasion I didn't give a to5s one way or the other about it.
Maybe it's because I'm not looking out for it ( or other things to be offended about ) constantly. It's not a particularly pressing issue.

I don't know anything about the man in question. It could be a huge satire for all I know - I mean the statement 'breastfeeding is unnatural' isn't offensive, it's hilarious.
Talc,Douglas.
Ludwig has his finger on the pulse. Of course it's satire, but unfortunately has fallen foul of the the rampant feminist brigade.
Talc!? Next thing you know it'll be soap and water!

It's the slippery slope.
Rampant feminist brigade? Seriously? Feeding a baby makes someone a feminist. I never knew that!
You know fine what I mean, ummm. Don't be so precious.
When my son was a baby I needed to breastfeed him a few times while out of the house. If I was with someone, I would sit in a cafe facing away from other customers. Once I was on my own and felt too uncomfortable to feed in public, so I did it in a loo. The other women in the queue were annoyed that I was taking so long, and I could hear some muttering about how I was feeding my baby in there. I shouldn't have had to do that.
I've seen a woman breastfeed on a crowded train, and no one took the slightest bit of notice. It's really not a big deal, or it shouldn't be.
I think his views on Breastfeeding could have been better worded and his insults to women angered a lot of husbands too.

I wouldn't wish him to lose his job,his apology should stand.
Me, precious?....LOL.
