When I saw nice chattels it merely encouraged me to try harder myself, I cannot imagine deliberate damaging a strangers property for no reason.

Did you step out of your luxury bus 237? I fed a blind kid in Khatmandu who was busking on the streets with a drum, I took him by the hand and physically led him to a cafe and heard about how he's lost his sight at the age of three. I sat with a family in a 'home' that looked like an old garage, smoke and grease stains up the wall from their kerosene stove/cooking alcoholic...

Could be on tricky ground here, given the description of the alleged perpetrator, so I shall give this one a miss.
I can't stand to see such a beautifully crafted machine being wantonly damaged but we don't know the full story. There is no 'reason' excusable for doing something like this, but there may have been mitigating circumstances.

the man was not in his car AP, it was caught on dash cam. I have one this is why.
Why could he be on 'tricky ground' jackdaw-because the guy is black?
So do I TTT - but there could have been many reasons he did this even if he wasn't in the car at the time.
-- answer removed --
I can't think of a single reason why someone would do that - well at least not a rational one - nor any 'mitigating circumstances'. There can be no excuse.
"there may have been mitigating circumstances" Are you kidding? I saw this video on Yahoo. I hope they catch him.
No AP, I meant that discussing the topic could be tricky in view of some of the negative comments which might be posted.
"...nor any 'mitigating circumstances'"
How about: the driver of the car could have been the guy's former employer and had him made redundant on a whim, he could be a drug baron and ***ed up the neighbourhood the vandaliser lives in, maybe he was a bully-boy driver and cut him up aggressively one time too many - there could be a myriad of reasons the guy did this other than just plain jealousy.
The Brits have great difficulty in dealing with success and wealth.....unloke the Americans.

My mate, son of a miner, became a consultant orthopedic surgeon and all he wanted out of life was a Roll's Royce......to him a sign of hard work and success. He attained this......bought his Rolls Royce and had to sell it 6 months later because pf persistent vandalism.
So I had it partly correct then JD, I just missed out "tall".
there are similar issues in the States, Sqad though, overall, you are correct. Simply this vandal, whatever his race, religion, education, or sexual leaning is a twa-t......
I remember sitting in the back of my sister`s 2 door Ford Escort when I was about 15 and some kids came past and one of them keyed the car. They didn`t know I was sitting in the car and unfortunately, (it being a 2 door car) I couldn`t get out quick enough to catch them. There will always be nasty people about who will do this sort of thing.
Before I get totally rounded on by AB's resident fascists, I accept that jealousy over people's flashy cars does exist and damaging them is condemnable - I'm just playing devil's advocate here.
I remember reading an interview with a Bond actor. I can`t remember whether it was Sean Connery or Roger Moore but he said that when you drive down the road in a RR in the USA, people will say "Wow, what a fantastic car" When you drive down the road in a fantastic car in this country, people resent it.
237....LOL

Exactly.
I can't help wondering how this discussion would go if it was found out that the owner of the Aston was also black.
^^^..for me.......the discussion would be the same.......good on him.

In the 70's we saw the Nigerians in particular, come to the UK, work hard and become succesful.
Maybe the owner of the Aston Martin was black. What difference does that make?
