I'm not happy with my washing machines spin cycle and doubt the manufacturers claim that it spins at 1400rpm so I phoned the shop who put me in touch with the supplier and then the manufacturers directly to the CEO of the company in Shanghai who in his broken english and whoever was translating was the most frustrating and confusing conversation I've ever had in my entire life. From what I gathered he was saying that each washing machine was tested with a laser to gauge it's speed before leaving the factory. I seriously doubt this as well as he was the CEO but there is no way to prove or disaprove this.
I asked him could he direct me to his youtube video so I could see the laser at work and was disconnected. Several phone calls later I was told the CEO was away for a week which I also doubt.
My questions are, are washing machines tested with a laser and if so where can I get one of these lasers to check my spin cycle itself?
Svejk my grandkids did the same thing to me when I first got a computer so I'm not falling that old chestnut trying to click my mouse curser arrow but nice try.
Well no good on computers - but sometime a few weeks ago I smashed up my elecric fire cos it gave me no heat or light - really to ribbons - got it all put together for the sista next - now I have new one - jut yesterday. - love it.
Joke but true sory - my sister's ex boyfriend brought a really old fashioned radio over to me and said the tape wasn't working. I prised open the back and found that old wire around the two wheels came off - put them back together and he got another few years out of it.
Believe this - the following week he came over and said Jennyjoan could you fix my WATCH - Ach get outta here what do you think I am
Thanks for trying Jennyjoan and how dare you apologise. My old man used to say any advice is good advice unless it's bad advice which makes perfect sense.
Huckle if you've only owned it for 4 months as I said before your issue is with retailer if You are not happy with results, is that the case? How can you see drum when spinning? As for your friends machines they are probably front loaders which will have totally different noise characteristics
A top loader will not spin with the top open -this whole thread is a stupid wind up. A top loader will struggle to get to 800 rpm and certainly never 1400 rpm. I've washed thousands of loads of washing in North American top loaders
