I'm not entirely sure how the term "working class" is demarkated by other people but, if I were to try this myself, I would say they are anyone who is 'locked out' of any "middle class" job vacancy due to lack of a required professional qualification. They have any amount of skills but they can't become dentists, doctors, teachers or management consultants etc., overnight.

As you took issue with my suggestion that he could freely smoke it in Brighton, presumably he has no burning (ha ha) desire to smoke it.

(a) doesn't smoke cannabis, and
(b) doesn't want to smoke it ...
