As i stated it will be simpler for the people in the prison not to have the possibility of trouble if she is placed in a male prison , almost looks like they are deliberately making it harder for themselves.
She should never have been sent to a men's prison in the first place, although a news flash on the Been has said that she has now been moved to a women's prison.
Well I shan't argue with Eddie as someone who must have worked or does work in these places, but maybe they should be honest and say we are sending you to a male prison because we can't guarantee your safety in a female one.
Seems we need a special gaol from prisoners whose minds reject the body/gender that they are. It's their misfortune, but it is no excuse for pretending they are the opposite gender that they were born when choosing a gaol for them.
Gender in society is about more than biology -- it's not exactly that difficult. Not to mention the fact that gender in biology isn't even all that binary anyway (the possibility of XXY, XYY and XXX genetic make-up, for example).
Also, if she is pretending, then it had little to do with her suddenly going to prison -- it's been part of her for all her life.
But anyway. The case has reached the most sensible conclusion -- the only one, really.
'she' is not going to find it much easier in a woman's jail. As I said they are far 'rougher' than a male prison. The reason being that Judges, for whatever reason, are far less likely to lock up a woman , so only the very worst cases end up in jail.
