No mention of it being Racist, no it is described as France's far right National Front party, an anti immigration and anti EU party.
Which gives the impression that it is a more acceptable political party than any of our own nationalist parties.

That's as maybe, but you live in non-urban environment, 'in reality' it bears no relationship to the cities of France, the banlieues of which are frequently no-go areas where Sharia law is practiced. This state of affairs is accepted even by the police.

Much as it pains me to say it, there is a lot of truth in that. It explains the popularity of the Front national with middle class voters. It is certainly true that the moslem population of France at large is mostly non-practising, and even a majority of believers don't go to prayers. Ironically, that is part of the problem, as many younger moslems feel alienated not only from "mainstream" French society and the policy of "take our culture or leave it" and their parents and older generations, who are nominally "moslem" but don't actually espouse the religion in any discernible form

If this was "certainly true" (which it isn't) then the 2300 mosques in France(with a further 200 to 250 planned) would be rather empty on Fridays (which they aren't).

There are over 4 million moslems in France. Possibly a lot more. If there are 2300 mosques, even if only 800,000 (20% of a possible 4,000,000 attends Friday prayers in those mosques, then that means about 350 in each one. Which is quite a lot, so observing that "the mosques are busy" is hardly a very reliable guide"

Is the SNP a nationalist party? If it is (and most folk would say it is) is it not included in "any of our nationalist parties?"
