jackthehat //It took less that a single page to devolve into the usual 'andy-hughes...explain yourself!' nonsense. //

andy-hughes is taking part in this discussion voluntarily and is posting quite profusely. If people disagree with him that's their prerogative.
/// If people disagree with him that's their prerogative.///

It most certainly is.......and one they abuse with tedious regularity.
jackthehat, Why 'abuse'? They disagree. That's not 'abuse'. Constantly leaping to his defence for no good reason makes him look like 'a right girl's blouse'. If he feels he needs defence, let him defend himself for goodness sake! He's quite capable!
I'm not defending andy, I'm pointing out that far too many posters are arguing against the man and not his point of view.....although they see that as providing them with plenty of ammunition.

I am making exactly the same points as and and yet no-one has taken me to task nor asked me to explain myself.

Funny that....

Naomi - //jackthehat, Why 'abuse'? They disagree. That's not 'abuse'. //

jack did not say it was 'abuse' - her use of the word was as a verb, not a noun, surely someone who is so keen to advise us of her education as you are would know the difference?

Rudeness aside, if jack chooses to defend me, or anyone else, that is her prerogative, and your interpretation of her action is just that - your interpretation, which is not the definitive rule, except in your mind.

I am - but support from like-minded Ab'ers is always appreciated - and does not deserve further attack which is simply taking the thread off point - something you and I have done quite enough of today!
jackthehat, not funny at all. You posted one comment on this subject at the very beginning of the thread - as opposed to andy-hughes' several comments throughout the thread. He has continued contributing to the discussion - you have not. As far as I can tell no one is arguing against the man - they are arguing his views - which he is offering of his own volition.

That nonsense doesn't warrant a considered response - and I haven't taken the thread off track.

I would not dream of speaking for jack, but for my part, I am dipping out of this exchange with you - it is going round in circles, and it is exactly the sort of personal argument that I have advised I will not continue - it is off the subject, and seriously tedious for onlookers.

I shall now confine my responses to the debate arising from the OP.

It's funny how you resort to abuse when your ignorance of language is exposed - and yes you have taken the thread off track - with exactly this sort of post!
Good - very wise.
RIP little girl.
Perhaps my time away from the thread allowed me to see exactly where it was heading, instead of sitting poised so that I could post yet another comment ailed squarely at the poster rather than the post?
*aimed...
Mamya - //RIP little girl. //

As usual, you have brought us back to the topic.

Your sentiments are echoed, I am sure, by all of us.
And there's me thinking you were stopping. Silly me.
Naomi //Good - very wise. //

Thank you!
jackthehat, // yet another comment ailed squarely at the poster//

What are you talking about?
What an incredibly sad story.

I truly hope that we can all focus on using it to have a pop at Muslims in general, because that's most important thing here.

The facts that we know are this - the woman is a follower of Islam, and she allegedly beheaded a young child, burned the family home down, before wandering around the city with the aforementioned child's head in her possession.

These are typical actions from Muslims, as we have seen in the news recently. Because followers of the so-called Islamic State carry out such atrocities, then we should see these actions as 'typical of Islam'.

I'm tired of people like andy-hughes using logic and reason when stories like this arise.

As you appear to have trouble understanding my post, despite my correction directly underneath, I have reposted it as it ought to have appeared, without the typo.
Who'd be a child in Moscow ..
Last week a drunken woman threw their 4 month old child out of the window of a 9th floor apartment, before carrying on the alcohol fest with her partner.
