But at 4.30pm on a Friday, I suggest that AOG would have ignored the article if the chap hadn't been of Muslim appearance. He has generally tracked down most of the day's alarmist 'Muslim' threads long before that time of day.

As has been said, he may not actually be a Muslim but the inference is there to be made; not least because of who placed the report on this forum.

Hold up....I haven't said he is wrong.....
I *have* said the he seems unnaturally preoccupied with posting thread after thread showing blacks/asians/muslims in a very bad light. Actually, matters of 'race' appear to exercise him on a daily basis.

I don't hate AOG, either. I believe him to be misguided and ignorant on a whole host of issues and have no hesitation on pointing this out to him.

In what is left of our society and culture it was always the case that these vile perverts were punished properly. Our new liberalism of course brings us closer to the attitudes inherent in other 'cultures' where such events are not so taboo. I don't take offence.....I may get exasperated with the constant repetition and, yes, I'm by no means the only one.

And this thread is a classic example of what happens (I hold my hands up to my part), a young child is assaulted and all sympathy for the victim gets swamped by judgements made about ethnicity etc. of the 'perpetrator'.

It's not sufficient for him to be a 'bad man', he has to be a 'bad asian/muslim man'.

No judgements have been made about the ethnicity of the perpetrator by aog. He has not even followed up with a post in three pages.The title does not disclose ethnicity but that doesn't stop your unwarranted attack on aog just because the post shows a suspects photo.
Notice he posted //not safe anywhere//. That was reference to where the attack took place not by whom! But you make your inferences and accusations all the same.

I haven't much addressed your 'bigger picture' because this is a thread about a specific circumstance.
Far too many threads get dragged hither and thither because there is an 'Islam/muslim' dimension to the OP (see fender62's contributions to this one); he may have a point but it's not much to do with the OP.
