Seems a fair assumption.

What I really don't understand, is why some of you are so determined that integration had nothing to do with it.
People, including me, are always asking why Muslims don't integrate more. Couldn't this, just possibly, explain why some don't 'risk it'?
Sigh indeed! If anything is becoming less credible it's Zacs-master with his penchant for disrupting threads with pedantic time-wasting. For gawd's sake, svejk, tell him he's right and then you can get on with the discussion.
SVEJK it could be he would have been a target regardless of his message about Christians.
Have to say, I fully agree with Kahndro, Let's have full transparency whether it be CCTV or something else......All who have nothing to hide surely won't object to that like any other religious community....

RIP Mr Faisal.

Poor old Bliar is getting hammered in the comments, khandro.
It's a frustrating thread for some to get involved in (there are some notable absentees)
Where is the outrage that would surely have come if the murderer wasn't a Muslim?
Apologies correction...Mr Faisal!
RIP Mr Shah

Could, indeed, Corby. As I've been at pains to point out, from the get go.
THECORBYLOON, according to the link his brother said //It was just a clear-cut revenge attack. For posting messages about peace, messages about greeting fellow Christians and Jews.//

Apparently he'd posted similar messages at Christmas.

If we flip this slightly,
A christian wished a muslim happy Ramadan, and was murdered by another christian. Someone suggests the murdered christian was killed because he dared to integrate.
It then turns this was in Northern Ireland and the murder was a Catholic and the victim was a Protestant. It is then clear the the integration was a red herring and the murder was sectarian.

That is exactly what has happened in Scotland. A sectarian murder which some have put this prepostrous motive of because of integration.

gromit, surely sectarianism has got everything to do with not integrating? if you were to walk along Edmiston Drive in a green shirt on a saturday afternoon, how many of those you're likely to meet will integrate you into their circle?
Mushroom

The sectarianism and none integration was between Sunni and Ahmadiyya muslims. That is not what the OP was about. That was integration between Muslims and Christians.
The victim's brother, a fellow Muslim, says it was a clear cut revenge attack for greeting Christians and Jews, Gromit. Perhaps he should have asked you before forming an opinion.
