I've seen a few videos of these 'fascist thugs'. They seem, inexplicably, a bit angry about what happened. (and, possibly, the fact that the city authorities cancelled today's peace march in case it offended the Muslim community) And raised their voices a bit.
No surprise the BBC are playing it for all it's worth.

You haven't read anything before posting have you anne? There was a vigil planned which was cancelled by the security forces. They turned up anyway and so did the freedom fighters from the not left populace. Only one of the groups were challenged by the security forces. Coming to a town near you.

Police asked for the peace march not to go ahead due to policing difficulties so instead people turned up for a peace vigil, then the fascists turned up and it all went to pot!!

That sound more like what the freedom fighters were there to protest about. In fact it sounds like the EUSSR, and all its supporters. Just keep asking the questions. Who voted for you? Can we vote you out?

It sounds like protesters hijacked the cancelled peace march.

I took it that the police were too otherwise occupied with all that entails after such a tragedy to be able to provide police to be able to provide sufficient officers for such a large event (especially given security concerns) and had asked for it to be cancelled. Concerns over it being hijacked may have been at issue too, as happened anyway.

Unfortunately, it seems to have been in vain as it looks like a large number of police had to be diverted there anyway.

It is reprehensible if they have disrespected the memorial there.

Watch all the videos. Nothing happened. The BBC even said 10 people were arrested to give mugs the impression there was a riot going on. In fact, 10 muslims were arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into Tuesday's outrage.
