Judging by the audience Obama is convincing to stay in Europe, why are the white European indigenous population of these Islands, only recognisable by their absence?

Wouldn't that be a pain to organise?

When visiting dignitaries come to the UK, should the organisers ask a percentage of the audience to keep out of the photos, or perhaps not turn up?

Call me an uninformed and casual observer but: -

1) Sitting presidents of the USA do not drop by much, at all
2) He's a celebrity even when he ceases to be POTUS
3) He's doing a speech/lecture

logically, that spells ticket sales. This means the audience will be *self-selecting*. If my assumptions are correct and he is a role model for Prime-Ministerial wannabes, then the audience will tend to be the young, seeking guidance on how political speeches are done and I'd also expect him to draw an audience skewed towards the minorities side, purely because only white people would turn their noses up at the chance.

Self-selection works for non-attendence, too.

So you think that white people would not turn up, why would that be?

If any persons would choose not to turn up surely they would be Muslims, given their hatred towards the US, but I assume there seems to be plenty of them in the audience.

and we are asked if the population from which is taken has become a minority

and this says that a sample of a population ( that is the audience ) should in some way resemble the population that it is chosen from.

there is a whole branch of statistics on this

whereas AOG says there werent enough white faces in Obama's audience.

but it has to be a random choice ....[ of the sample from the population]

and if it isnt ( which it wasnt here ) then you have a different branch of statistics called quota fllling
and if it is valid ( some say yes ) for certain purposes
and some say no

Quota filling came in when Dewey lost the 1948 election ( Dewey by a landslide etc ) and it was found that the telephone survey came out heavily for Dewey and all the people without telephones voted for Truman who won. -they should have had a quota of non telephone owners ... aha !

but it immediately violates the principle of random selection ...

rather obviously the President of the United States does NOT walk into crowds which havent been vetted before ....
