For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I can see folk may take the view that the period when segregation was unlawful might warrant triggering some form of compensation; but since it seems it was unlawful on a technicality I don't see compensation as being appropriate. It's not like, had they followed the rules, she wouldn't have been segregated.
