I must say I can't see any difference between "Britain first" and "put Britain first", except that the former might be seen as a direct reference to a political party and the latter only as a reference to a policy they embrace. Either of them is a strange thing to shout before you kill someone. I expect - or at least, I hope - that more will become clear.
