Received an e-mail message from Theresa May this morning and one thing she has said in it is ,quote " Brexit means Brexit and we are going to make a success of it"
They are obliged to have the debate, but they have already announced they outcome. They've had to do this since you can see the date of the debate - September 15. If there was chance the debate would result in no Brexit, we'd be in limbo for over two months. So they've told us already that it won't.
A fairly meaningless statement unless one has defined what one considers Brexit to be. No point officially having left if we've agreed to be still subject to the very rules we left to get rid of as the price of market access. Politicians being clear are as rare an occasion as spotting a set of hen dentures.
