I am beginning to wonder, on hearing what the SNP leader is saying, that she has a veto for Brexit.

Why hasn't our PM, came out and said, that its untrue ?

She should openly admit it, so we know where we stand, keeping quiet makes me think The SNP leader is right.

Ellipsis....the difficulty for Mrs May is that her Party had and still has a policy of staying in the EU, along with all other Partys, bar one ! I can't see the referendum has changed anything....that is still her Partys policy.

Its also obvious that all Partys in Britain, bar one, wants Scotland to remain in the UK.

Its seems to me that she has a judgement of Soloman to make here !

Rather her than me !
I don't think there's any danger of your being asked, mikey.
Alas no....and I am very glad about that !
:)
She may ask me if she wishes.

Top priority is to get out of the EU properly, no ridiculous concessions. It is the will of the people. Let other politicians throw a strop if they wish.

Next priority would be to try to convince all that the UK is valuable and it would be unwise to break bits off to try to weaken it, but if they insist then that is their failure.

I think that covers it although one can add in many many other issues & details in one wishes.
...details if one wishes.
As typed.
OG- I think the problem must be your keyboard or maybe the loading of adverts causes a delay before letters appear (as happens to me sometimes)
OG there really is no need to keep explaining, it's mostly clear what you mean. To me anyway.
And me !
Brexit appears to be going ahead.Extract from today's paper:-
Britain can build free trade zone 10 times size of EU.Talks have begun on huge deals, says Brexit minister.
Apologies if this has already been raised - haven't trawled through all the posts as yet. Northern Ireland has the pound sterling and the south has the euro. As far as I can ascertain this has caused no problems.
It's not a question of whether Brexit will go ahead but when. The Tories are not going to commit political suicide, that's best left to the Labour party.
Maggie....If my memory serves me right, this has caused a lot of cross-border traffic, although I am unsure if this is a problem however !
well when we are out, we'll have to put a proper border in NI won't we.
TTT...that will set cross-border Irish relations back a century. No one in thier right mind wants that.
There can be a border with free access to both North & South.
I take the point but if we have an open border to the EU post brexit, we'll have migrants using Ireland as an easy entrance to UK.
A bit more tricky to get to Ireland rather than England from France. There are only four ferry routes, none of them from Calais.
^^ We already do have 100s of migrants using the N/S Ireland border as a way into the UK. But as there is no way to check there can be no figures so it does not get reported, it's not 'newsworthy' as the Calais jungle is.
I assume if it can't be reported as it is not newsworthy then you are unable to supply a link to your statement?
