It is rather sad that the apologistas for these deeds have twice tried to tag the label of 'psychological problems' on these followers of Islam. Just state the obvious. People from all and indeed no faiths commit gruesome murders every day - but only when there is a perceived link with Islam do people seek to make a connection between faith and violence.
