Interesting. Since Denmark only has borders with Germany and Sweden (via bridge/tunnel) it must be a bit grim in those two countries – sufficiently so that the asylum seekers have fled them. Otherwise they would have had their asylum claims heard there wouldn’t they (or perhaps elsewhere in Europe as I doubt Germany or Sweden was their first port of call).

Although the age of consent (to sexual intercourse) is 15 in Denmark, that country has a large number of laws relating to sexual activity with people under 18. It may be that the authorities there were not entirely convinced of the authenticity of some of the relationships they were being asked to countenance when housing the incomers.

As usual the liberal European authorities have tied themselves in knots because they try to accommodate the culture and habits of foreigners who often behave contrarily to their own domestic laws. Yes, most European countries recognise marriages made elsewhere. This means eleven year old brides from Nigeria would be recognised as “wives”. However, there are few – if any - European countries where sexual activity with a child of that age would be countenanced. So the authorities either split the couple up or condone under age sex. There’s no third choice. This is what happens when “multiculturalism” is encouraged and that's the root cause of the problem here.

As you can see pedophilia has to be sexual activity with a prepubescent child and no child under age 13 can legally be called prepubescent. So sex with 15 year old CAN NOT be classed as peadophilia.

There is a legal 'cut off' point for a sex crime to be classed as peadophilia.
That' cut off point' is age 13 . Under 13 it can be peadophilia over 13 it
can not be. Sex with someone aged 13 to 16 is 'sex with an underage child' which is what Alan Johnston was charged with, not 'peadophilia' as the Daily Mail reported.
