ummmm, not a sportsman then?
//by all accounts talked sleaze//

unless i'm very much mistaken he did more than talk - didn't some sleazy deal or other (and the cover up that followed) get him impeached?

This thread didn't even come with a link. If I want to put forward the idea that posters are being deliberately selective ... I will.
Some people want to constanly slate Trump and I haven't got a problem with that. What does puzzle me is that the same posters haven't got a bad word to say against the Clinton machine.
You would think that Trump was running against the Walton's or the Ingalls
No doubt there are plenty of men who speak this way from time to time. But those men are also *** who shouldn't be trusted with the positions of power they nevertheless often end up in.

This awful attitude isn't OK just because it's not unique. That makes it worse, if anything. What sort of message would it send to elect someone like that? That it's acceptable to dismiss women in this manner? It doesn't bear thinking about.
I duplicate this post since I now find it is better suited to this thread.

A liberal leftie presenter on the liberal left radio station LBC, tried to use Trumps 11 year old boast to try and decry Trump in some way, but he failed miserably.

The majority of callers even a woman phoned to state, what he said is the kind of thing most men talk about when amongst their mates, even women will talk similar things about men when at hen parties etc.

His comment:

/// and when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.” ///

Is perfectly true, some women will throw themselves at rich and famous men, regardless of their age or looks.

It is about time the liberal left started to look at both the Clinton's misdemeanours, before dishing the dirt at Donald.

/// My husband would never discuss women in a lewd manner. ///

How do you know what he discusses, when he is out with his mates?
in that case, aog, I'll duplicate my response

aog, this isn't about women who threw themselves at Trump, it's about Trump throwing himself at women - read the story again.
Jim, no it isn't ok - but it happens. That’s reality. I imagine few people in the public eye or who stand for political office are, in their private lives, the doyens of morality we expect them to be – Hillary Clinton certainly isn’t! It seems to me that the moralisers here, so determined to dissect every word that this man utters, need to take a look at the planks in their own eyes. ‘Spiteful’ doesn’t cover it.

/// So he's an apologetic creep. ///

At least he did not deny it, as Hillary Clinton's Lecherous husband did when the 49-year-old had sex with a 22-year-old White House intern.

Oh no Talbot. I am not a Clinton supporter, but posting previous indiscretions of bill Clinton to "take the heat" of Trump is unnecessary.

sorted!
Trump has always had a questionable attitude towards women (Selina Scott, anyone?) so I'm not sure that these revelations actually bring anything new to public notice. They seem to be a confirmation of what most people already know....

However, he's certainly an odious individual and I don't relish the decision facing the American nation on Election day.
AOG...do you know what sex is?
//AOG...do you know what sex is? //

ummmm, isn't that rather pulling the "old people don't do it" stereotype?
No...it means there's a difference between having full sex and doing other sexual things.
not sure mr clinton knows that either - he cartainly didn't know how to toke a joint when he was at oxford......
ummmm

/// I grew up in a very male dominated environment and I've never really heard men speak of women in a negative manner. ///

Regardless of the fact that you grew up in a very male dominated environment, one would not expect men to say such things in front of a woman, just as a group of females wouldn't say such things in front of men.

And I am sure that apart from the usual sex related innuendos, you must have heard men speak of women in a negative manner, be it about the mother in law or some other female traits.

Or is it the same with women as it is with the ethnic minorities, they are deemed a protected species and one must not speak negatively about them in any way?
