I think her comments show how each person saw the Referendum and what it represented and how it has affected them.

None of us can say she hasn't felt this way in her home town since the vote was cast.

If she has been treated differently that's wrong of those who have acted that way.

For the audience to boo her says more about them than this Polish lady.

Poland only joined 14 years ago so she lived here 9 years before that. It should make no difference to her.

I think the lady has a slightly different view of the reasons for Brexit than the voters who carried the vote.

Personally - as a Brexit voter, my first concern was for Britain to extricate itself from European beaurocracy, which includes unwelcome laws from unelected individuals, and trade regulations which strangle our ability to trade freely and fairly. As a last point, I would welcome the cessation of free movement, it has become seriously abused over the years.

I can perfectly understand that this lady's perception is going to be miles away from mine, but to boo her for stating her opinion is boorish and as hc says, it says more about the British audience than the lady herself.

Don't think t's disgraceful at all, she seems to be taking Brexit personally! I voted Brexit to get away from EU rule, not to get rid of all the Polish. She has a chip on her shoulder imo.

I felt very strongly for this woman.

Xenophobia and good, old-fashioned racism was responsible for many of the votes to leave the EU. Anti-immigrant attacks have increased since June 23rd.

The outcome of the referendum made it OK for some people to lapse back into their old, racist ways again. Being racist has now become legitimate for those people. For some, it never really went away....the kind of people that live the life of Riley on the dole, and at the same time, think its OK to blame immigrants for their situation.

The kind of people that talk about "popping down to the ***s for a pint of milk" etc, etc

She said that the majority of the British people voted against the Poles. No they didn`t. She has a skewed way of interpreting the Brexit vote.

I'm sure you are right and the majority did not vote with the thought of Immigration or the Poles in particular at the the forefront of their mind.

The point I was making earlier is that, if in her locality since the Referendum she has been treated differently however that may be - she has rightly or wrongly connected the two.
