I doubt the police will catch them anyway. There are a couple of traveller camps around here that they could have come from but travellers come from far and wide for some funerals. Another thing I have noticed is that they all look the same (probably because they are interbred) plus they were suited and booted and will look completely different in their usual clothes.

I am with Sqad here. I can't recall any report similar to this from youth in the 50's and 60's. I m aware of the travellers "grabbing" but not with boys as young as this. Like AOG says, it just wasn't on my horizon when I was 10 years old.

This is certainly not playing Doctors and Nurses !

What I am concerned with is that such young boys should think of assaulting a very young girl, in the way they did. We don't know for sure what the offence was but its obvious that they weren't after an innocent kiss.

I feel sorry for the poor girl, unfortunately as has been said the young boys will copy the older ones.

I can't think that the traveller community would condone a serious sexual assault on such a young girl.

The Traveller community probably wouldn`t condone such an attack but I`m pretty sure that they wouldn`t comply with police enquiries either.
