When these stories appear the usual outcry is that "it has always happened."

Yes, girls have been sexually assaulted in the past, but i cannot recollect any media announcement that the attackers were "under 10 years of age" form my memories dating back to the lat 1940's.

I don't know how far back some of you are going?

But when I was of that age, boys knew very little about girls, due to the fact that we very really mixed with them, either at school or socially, also the fact that we were not sex indoctrinated in school as the children seem to be today.

The 'Grabbing' is a distasteful enough tradition within their own community - must have been very frightening for the young girl involved.

When I was seven I recall a boy friend asking me very matter of factly if 'I wanted to have it off', this would have been the seventies.

When I was a kid it was brushed under the carpet as playing Drs and Nurses or you show me yours and I'll show you mine.

It isn't new.
