If A Christian Couple Can Be Fined For Refusing To Sell Something They Believe Is Against Their Religion Then Why No Action Against This Person?

OK, so IMHO religion is the root of most evil but lets forget that bit because what I am trying to understand is why there seems to be one rule for one and another for a certain other religion we all have to bend ovcer backwards to accommodate?

A.H., I apply for a job in England ( I'm Welsh) & there's a sheep making sheep sounds to sell, do I take them to court for taking the Izzz, there are a lot of things that's against their religion, as said, Durex, Tampax, Touching the hands of Whites ( YES, Touching hands, that's a new one) the job involves Wines, beers, why the feck have we got to jump up & down for these people, if they don't like it, work for a Muslim Company, Simple, this religion causes more trouble that any other, do you see Poles, Jews, Paddys, Jocks, Taffs Moaning? they know they cause problems & they enjoy it.

If you re-read my posts Talbot, you will see that I have pointed out at various times that it appears that an agreement was reached between this employee and her employers.
At no time have I ever stated, or indeed inferred, that I was party to that conversation, clearly I was not, but I am able to surmise what was agreed on the basis of the situation as reported.

I appreciate that you feel unhappy at what you perceive to be unjustified attitudes from Muslims about what they will and will not do.
However, that is not the issue here.
The situation is this - an employee appears to have reached an agreement with her employers whereby, because of religious observances, she will not be required to sell or handle alcohol.
The employer then placed her in a situation where she would be required to sell alcohol, which she refused to do.
No we can argue up hill and down dale about the rights and wrongs of the exemption, but that is not the point.
The point is, the exemption was made by the employer, who then failed to ensure that the exemption was in place, which led to the situation where the employee was requested to sell alcohol and refused.
So - whether or not this lady is entitled to be exempt from selling alcohol his not the point of the situation, or the debate. The point is, she was exempted, and that exemption failed through no fault of hers - because her employers were lax in making sure that the exemption was maintained.
