When the Red Cross says something like this, then surely we have to sit up and take notice ?

A quote from the Shadow Health Secretary :::::::

"For the Red Cross to brand the situation a 'humanitarian crisis' should be a badge of shame for government ministers."

Who can argue with that ?

The NHS is safe with us ....really ?

Will bow out gracefully. For the record, I work within the ITU and surgical ward settings, and after over 20 years experience have become quite good at dodging punches that delirious/confused/demented patients are trying to lamp me with.
