This breaks my heart. There will be very complicated reasons I'm sure,why this 15 year old has done this, but I do beleive plain Evil does exist, I'm sure doctors will try to give an appropriate explanation,for me its not necessary to know why. I cannot begin to imagine what the little girls mother is going through at the moment. At least the mother was with the little girl when she died.

Truly horrific, I cannot imagine what the poor little mites parents are going through. No doubt that there are evil people in the world, at 15 years old she will know what is right and what is wrong. The whole story of why she did it will come out I expect, and I hope that she is locked up for a very long time.

So upset by this news, read it on the way to work this morning. What chance did she have.

Sad to say I've encounter some totally vicious 15 year old girls, I have had to prevent slashing with a blade, in school, so although we don't know the circumstances about this tragedy, it isn't entirely surprising. I would also court controversy and say that girls can be far more vicious than boys.

To my mind its a breakdown of society. The richer are getting richer and poor have no one to turn to. Rubbish tabloid newspapers and equally rubbish "entertainment" TV productions are designed to keep the masses happy. Religion of any type is laughed at and this is the result. No parent is at home to watch the kids with the result that no order exists and with the increase in separations there is the possibility of a complete breakdown.

In this day and age why was a seven year old walking home alone from a primary school, which is half a mile from her home?

Was her Mum late in picking her up, was she supposed to be escorted from school by the 15 year old?

There are many questions needed to be asked and as it has already been mentioned we will know better when a full inquiry into this tragic event has been carried out.

Of course it is a bad thing to happen, that goes without saying.

Knee-jerk comments about society and bad parenting are not helpful this early.

On AB we constantly speculate on items of news, especially if they contain such tragic circumstances as this, that is what keeps us from being totally confused as to why such dreadful things are now becoming almost common place.
