I dont agree at all with Corbyns policies but they were what the labour democracy elected him on and they should respect that. Thevmain problem is those that wont accept it are the establishment that wont accept any will of democracy like brexit trump etc.

PoliticsHome is a Lord Ashcroft enterprise, so its comments on the Labour Party are far from objective or unbiased.
We have a strange situation where the Parliamentary Labour Party want Labour to lose these two by-elections. They will not go to the constituencies and help the campaign. They think that by losing one or both, then Corbyn will be forced to stand down. But he won't, he has a huge mandate from Party members.
They are like confused teenagers self harming.
Can't see the mess that Labour are in, improving anytime soon.

There is little chance of “dozens” of MPs following Mr Hunt’s example. In fact I’d be surprised if any of them did.
Mr Hunt’s heart was clearly not in politics and his sojourn in the Commons was just a convenient gap filler. He now has a job much more to his liking and for which he is adequately qualified.
By contrast many MPs (of all persuasions) would struggle to secure employment running a whelk stall. The idea that they would give up lucrative jobs paying £65k a year (which can be more than doubled with careful manipulation of “allowances” and expenses) if fanciful.
I also have to agree with youngmaf. The Labour Party has chosen its leader and its current policies are obviously tailored with his philosophy in mind. Those MPs elected under the Labour banner will have to put up with that. Either that or they will have to resign the Labour Whip or better still their seats. But as I said, there's little chance of that.

Strangely enough, I agree with YMB here. What you see is what your get with Corbyn. He has been elected not once but twice....what do people think the Labour Party should do....keep having elections until he ISNT elected.
We have been here before, with the SDP, and what happened.....a generation of Tory rule.
Corbyns detractors should put up or shut up.

Hoppy....that is your opinion, and one that I have a modicum of support for.
But he proved as much use as a chocolate teapot 1991, having gained just one more seat for the Tories, than they had when they lost with Major...165 to 166.
Basically a decent chap I would opine, but not nearly good enough for the task in question.

Zacs....can't agree there I'm afraid.
Of course the labour Party will be back in power soon ! People said what you have just said in 1979, but the Party still bounced back.
After all....what is the alternative ? As far back as anyone can recall, its always been either Labour or the Tories in Number Ten.
The Libdems are now weakened for a generation, and you know my view on UKIP !
So when the Tories run out of steam, as they surely will, its only Labour that can fill the void, just as its done for years and years.
