In the words of the magnificently named Amanda Sizzle on FB:
(Tho I disagree with the "shouldn't be voting" bit)
"You ask what do we think. I think anybody who thinks that this is the "same thing Trump said in 2016" is a complete idiot and shouldn't be voting. If you can't figure out the major differences then we have a problem. Notice how he consistently kept repeating ILLEGAL aliens, and never once mentions a certain demographic and then tied terrible labels to that one demographic. I.E. rapists and murders. This is why a president needs tact. You can be politically incorrect without being a ***. People keep saying "who cares if he doesn't know how to give speeches properly, are you voting because he speaks well or because of what he's going to do?" Well, this is a PERFECT example of why being publicly respectable and choosing your words wisely is a big component to the presidency, because as you see in this video, the core of the speeches were generally the same but one got a standing ovation and the other *** off millions of people. Part of being the president is inspiring people, and if you can't even choose your words as to not deter listeners, so that your message is still received, how are you going to inspire the majority? Of course Trump's speech inspired some, but notice how they are the ones that are just as callous and small minded as well. His tactlessness didn't phase them. Trump might actually have a real chance if he just got this one thing down. More people could listen to what his plans are but they can't even get past his idiocy. Ultimately when you're running for presidency, you have to be a great salesperson. Somebody could be trying to sell you the greatest product there is but if you can't get past the terrible pitch, how are you going to be able to believe in the product?"
