There are more people in London than Scotland. Fed up with listening to the Scots, just ten per cent of our population. They voted against independence now they're off again. Couldn't care less if they left the UK.
Hear hear scooping, they can keep their Krankies and tins of shortbread biscuits, they want independence, let 'em have it!
plenty of Londoners would like independence too.

Scotland DOES NOT hate England or the English..NEITHER does Scotland want separation or home rule....Nicola dear and her disciples might but they DO NOT speak for the majority !!!
Why shame on me?

Scotland appears to want to distance itself from England, what are us south of the border supposed to do?

Beg 'em to stay???
Boo see my answer above..do NOT be taken in by the rubbish in the media...

Well said Murraymints. I completely agree. Sturgeon and co. do not speak for Scotland.
The Krankies live in Torquay, by the way!
Bloomin' nora, do they? well we'll send 'em home then when the wall's rebuilt ;-)
and Torquay is welcome to them !
Minty (15.04) That is a very sweeping statement. You speak for yourself and probably many other Scots, rightly so, but you cannot know that you speak for the majority.
lol @ mm!
the majority has already spoken Margo..I am but the messenger !! and one of the ..mostly silent..majority !

Steady on Boo, what about their whisky?
Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
As home his footsteps he hath turn’d
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;—
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung.
Fair enough Minty, I stand corrected.
Good point well made AOG- however Irish whiskey's none too shabby, we could always make do with that??
