'I loved my previous life. I had so many things going. This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.'

Staggering.

I totally agree with you Ladybirder
But if you are going to highlight these things be consistent ... don't use it as an excuse to attack someone you dislike.

But I haven't have I?
Trump thought it would be easier being president of the US because he was not and had never been a politician.

That's all that needs to be said really.

If he had even a minute of political knowledge he would have known the president doesn't get to sign papers and everything changes.

He is basicly one of the most powerful men on the planet that actually has no power. If he doesn't have the backing of the houses then everything he tries to do will fail. The only things that will get through is stuff he can be castigated over, like shooting hibernating bears, and the people who really wanted that to get through can sit back and hold their hands up and say look mate I think wasn't me that done it!!!

But that just shows Trumps naivety and stupidity. He is being advised it seems by other non political advisors such as his daughter.

Basically the political elite are rubbing their hands with glee waiting for him to blow himself out.
You haven't Ladybirder, no.

Trump supporters seem to have gone into hibernation. Now where's that 12 gauge?
I was never a supporter but I was a 'Let's give him a chance before we start knocking him' observer. And I wasn't alone, I think there were a few like me. I wasn't a Clinton supporter either and was appalled at how the USA managed to end up with a choice between two quite such unpleasant people yo say the least. So I can't answer for his supporters but for myself I am gutted about the repeal of measures to protect our precious planet and the wildlife that clings to life on it. Shame on all those who have brought this about, not just Trump.
He's a nob head
I too was prepared to give him a chance, but not now, wildlife, to me, is precious and I totally agree with ladybirder on this one. Why are you picking on her Talbot?
What are you talking about, JB?

The 'you' in that above post was not referring to Ladybirder.
It is aimed at anyone who only becomes an animal rights mouthpiece when it suits.
What I'm 'talking about' is I thought you were picking on her as I stated at 15:43, but if you say you're not, then I have to go with that, I guess.
He wasn't Jammy, I questioned whether Talbot was having at go at me @ 21.24 in answer to his post @21.14. He res-ponded he wasn't @21.28. Thanks for watching my back;-)
I will always stick up for animals, irrespective of the politics. I am disgusted that the party I support is hoping to bring back fox hunting and will be doing my bit to try and stop this happening.
Sorry Zacs we've gone right off thread now.
I think those posters who have compared President Trump's attitude as president to his previous business career have it spot on.

I honestly believe Donald Trump thought he could run America like he runs his companies - he says, people do.

It has been apparent in the number of frequency of his Executive Orders - the nearest he can get to his old 'I'm in charge' life which he thought was going to carry on.

I do hope that he gets sick of it and leaves before he really rings a bell than cannot be in-rung - Korea seems a likely one for s start.
What is it you think he shouldn't do regarding North Korea Andy?
BTW have you had a nice holiday?
Animals and their welfare are very important to me, so when I read this I was very angry. Shooting hibernating bears indeed - how cruel !
ladybirder - //What is it you think he shouldn't do regarding North Korea Andy? //

I think he should not get into increasingly nasty bouts of sabre rattling.

President Trump is not renowned for his ability to assimilate and allow for different cultural attitudes when dealing with powerful people from other nations. What he perceives as simply reminding the word that America will not be pushed around, can easily be interpreted by the Korean regime as an invitation to demonstrate its seriousness in reacting to a perceived lack of respect.

That is a seriously dangerous attitude to adopt with even more (!) unstable individuals who also have access to nuclear weaponry.

BTW have you had a nice holiday?

Wonderful, thank you x.
He has said he'd like to settle it diplomatically Andy. Not sure Kim Jong-un will listen though. Two unpredictable leaders, what could go wrong. Hopefully wiser heads than theirs will prevail. Or China might make a move first. Interesting albeit frightening.

HereIam, I know, just when they should be able to feel safe. How brave of these men to go out in the forest at night with lamps and guns and kill bears while they are resting with their cubs. How big they must feel.
