An old dinosaur that should have stepped down years ago, IMHO.

Good riddance !

Sqad But the procreation argument doesn't make sense, unless gay people are biologically incapable of producing children. And let's face facts - closeted gay people have been producing kids for millennia. So - homosexuality in itself cannot possibly be dangerous to society. What would be accurate is this: "Homosexuality is dangerous to society, when...

You will notice that I politely refrained from commenting on that remark.

I think Mikey had something in the oven (No, Mrs, no tittering). I think he missed the bit which says that almost/nearly is somewhat tautological. Still, who am I to mock the afflicted?
One man's loin is another's lasagne.

I had pizza.

I did enjoy 'the love that just won't shut up' comment. My homosexual friends don't make a fuss about it and are accepted. People just don't shout about their sexuality, or shouldn't. Parades and screaming hysterics are a real put-off and a recipe for a backlash i.m.o.. So - to all homosexuals out there, you are not persecuted, get on quietly with your lives, like the rest of us, please.
Keep going, Mamya. This thread could end up the mother of all double-entendres.
Coq au vin. Splutter splutter, chortle, chortle.
/// So - to all homosexuals out there, you are not persecuted, get on quietly with your lives, like the rest of us, please. ///

Only someone who has never experienced 'persecution' or prejudice could have posted that.....sheesh.

Perhaps Jourdain2 the reason your homosexual 'friends' are so quiet about it around you is because of your attitude?
Try as I might I still fail to see the connection between Brexit and homosexuality. Mind you, that article came from the Guardian, so its provenance is questionable to say the least.
the connection is chronological, jackdaw. I'm sure you have an alternative explanation of why that should be.
Nope, sorry. Can't see any connection, can't offer any explanation.

DB, you must accept that from now on all the woes in the world will be blamed on Brexit. Global warming? Brexit. Marine Le Pen? Brexit. Kim Jong Un? Brexit. The list is endless.
Coq au vin is a good enough reason for Brexit. Mind you when I was a lad C o ck in Van was a builders euphanism. ( Not you Builder I know you must have a Jag.)Another rhyme there if you must.
Well if the Grundian says it .....
Absolutely uncalled-for comment, Islay - but then you often make them. One of the people I refer to is an ex-pupil who has confided in me since her teens. Don't make nasty, sweeping statements, please. We go to concerts, etc. no-one treats anyone any differently and I have no 'attitude' thank you.
