I agree with Zacs about the 'glaring mantra' and as for being in 'lockdown'...

I do not believe that the portrayal of the situation by Hopkins resonates with the majority of the public.

I just feel that there are elements to Hopkin's report that are disproportionate and do not reflect the situation accurately.

It is precisely because Ms Hopkins' utterances both in print and on radio are full of such dial-a-cliché guff that she is anything but 'spot on'.

Using a list of trite emotionally provocative phrases and stringing them together in n effort to provoke knee-jerk reactions from a ready-made audience just itching to be made angry again is not journalism, nor is it remotely helpful in the current climate, and the sooner Ms. Hopkins' channels of communication are truncated, the less of this idiocy will be getting in the way of proper reasoned debate.
