Ba Flight Disruption At Heathrow Set For Third Day
Still complete confusion at our Airports....1000's of people sleeping on the floor, with no support visible from BA.
BA are refusing to give much in the way of details, but it is looking increasingly that out-sourcing IT to India was a grave mistake, and all to save money ! ts been said on the BBC today that this chaos is the worst "accident" to the IT of any airline, anywhere.
BA needs to pull its finger out and quick.

Perhaps it was a breach of their security data or a threat was delivered directly to them.
What is this need to know what has gone on?
Personally I don't care, as long as they sort it out I will still fly with them as many others will!!

agchristie....a phrase with eggs and baskets comes to mind !
Where was the back-up system, that should have been in place ?
There appears to nothing in the way of contingency plans in place, and this is completely unforgivable for a company the size of BA.
And its not just the IT system...people have been left to fend for themselves, for 3 days, with nothing in the way of help from BA.

No its not great for their stock.
But all this call for an explanation plus the unions going on about how bad it is that they went to India is not what matters now.
What matters is getting the issue sorted, getting people where they need to be, compensating people for holidays they have been unable to take (although insurance also plays a part in this)
Then and only then do they need to tell the public what happened!
