To be honest all, I can hardly be bothered for now. I spent 16 hours yesterday in a polling station doing the clerking and am crunched. But one thing for sure, I could have told you by 12noon that something big was happening. We are of course not allowed to communicate when on duty, but it was striking how many young first time voters were turning up. It was obvious...

Zacs, //Wake up call to politicians everywhere. Hopefully. //

People have been saying that for years and when did our politicians ever wake up?
-- answer removed --
Maybe they will now N. we can only hope. I feel a Who song coming on.....
I wonder if privately some of the Labour MPs are disappointed. Their chance to rid themselves of the dreadful Corbyn may have slipped away. 5 more years of struggling in the mire.
Spot on, Zacs.....both posts.....I hope it is a wake up call.....to politicians......and to us.....we need to stop sitting back and accepting what people like Theresa May think they can foist on us without a backlash.....x
.......
But it seemed like we did.
Murdo....I have always rejected the daft notion, that the truly marvellous BBC is politically biased at all.

I have been watching the Dimbleby Clan, in one or another, for most of my adult life, and I see no need to change now !
Zacs, what's that? 'I Can't Explain'? Me neither. I'm always very philosophical about the outcome of elections. There's no accounting ...
That they seem to have lost rather than gained seats, comes as a surprise, but I find the prediction of a hung parliament difficult to believe. That would be a massive Tory fail. And a major problem for the country. With Brexit coming up (and hardly any party willing to fight our corner rather than bend over backwards capitulating to get any agreement) we need a strong government, not more certainty not splits and strife. Let's hope it's an inaccurate poll prediction.
It maybe that the exit poll is ***
Hoppy....it would appear, on the evidence of tonight's Exit Poll, that the country would have appear to have rejected "the dreadful Corbyn" concept.
You're possibly in a better place than me N. I'm still working and trying to build a company / pension pot but these ******* (starred out myself) seem to be thwarting me at every step.
^It's a thought.
Won't Get fooled Again, I was thinking

I think the EU would rather we got on with starting the negotiations, rather than waiting another six months for another election...
Sorry, ^that was to Talbot.

Zacs, I think I probably am. Good luck.
Hey, let's hope OG. Gawd knows what a dogs breakfast Brexit will be with a hung parliament. Maybe the result is a factor of only just over half the country actually wanting Brexit?
Well that's what most Labour MPs think of him Mikey.

Remember the vote of no confidence.
