However, the devil is in the detail and if shortcuts were made in the fixing, if cheaper, quicker or more 'manageable' fixings were substituted then there *is* a case to answer and that is the responsibilty of whoever decided to cut those corners.

We shall see, I suppose.
Then again, we may not. There was already a review of building regulations under way, following the Camberwell fire. The government won't say when it will be completed. Two separate coroners have called for fitting of sprinklers in high-rises. Nothing has been done. So don't hold your breath.
