I think that has to be the approach pix - you can spend valuable time and energy being outraged by something that is not that important in the scheme of things, or you can simply decide it is not for you - or indeed me - I wouldn`t dress my youngest grandson in that, and I know his parents wouldn't either - because it`s naff in the extreme.

1st one is tacky and distasteful. 'Boys will be boys' is often an excuse for doting parents failing to control bad behaviour - I came across it often enough in school and it stinks. Wouldn't buy either for my grandchildren.

I accept that bad parents do trot out cliches about 'boys being boys' - but I do think that maybe we are assigning that attitude to this slogan when it I not appropriate.

I have a pretty finely-tuned antenna for things which are just not right - and I simply saw this as a phrase, and not one loaded with meaning at al

To me they aren’t particularly offensive but both are naff....if Asda are looking to go up market then epic fail.

I think Asda are doing what all businesses do - looking for business, and since the shallow end of the gene pool is much more heavily populated, they are pitching it about right for those all important profit margins.

Just dont buy them and it will stop. If they sell in large numbers then clearly they are acceptable to a lot of the public so fine.
