I would have thought that most prostitutes have regular tests or at least have protected sex. Let's face it, its their livelihood.

I'd be more worried about the person who goes out regularly on a Sat night, gets bladdered and regularly has unprotected sex. Or is an intravenous drug user.

Mikey - i just logged on to www.blood.co.uk and popped in my postcode.

There are no facilities at our surgery and I didn't think to look into whether we can donate at the local hospital. Its is far to busy and difficult to get to really, we tend only to venture there when its absolutely necessary.

I'm flabberghasted anyone in this day and age uses the term 'common prostitutes' and thinks anal sex between heterosexual couples is more or less confined to Africa. I personally am not at all worried about this, I can't imagine why anyone else is either when you consider anyone can go out on the pull and give blood. there is someone I know who has slept with literally scores of different people since Christmas and they are neither a sex worker nor a gay man, in fact theyre quite respectable and work in an office, so how can you possibly hope to tell who is or isn't high risk?
