Just an observation, but breastfeeding a child of 3+ years isn’t actually feeding him. It’s tantamount to giving him a drink. A child of that age needs solid foods to sustain him, so any claim that the child needed feeding doesn’t work. A drink of water would have done the job. I think this woman is an attention seeker.

danny, I have to ask why she made a point of putting it on Twitter in the first place. Subsequently the Mail contacted her, and a reporter then turned up uninvited on her doorstep and, against her wishes, put details of her child in the public domain. I wonder how the Mail obtained her contact details and her address, and if details of her child were not already in the public domain, and she didn’t offer the information to the reporter, how those details were obtained. That story just doesn’t ring true to me.

NAOMI, she has a daughter too and I am thinking her saying she has been breastfeeding for 3.5 years includes the daughter. TALBOT said the wee one was forty-one months old based on the 3.5 years statement, there is no definite age that I've seen.

danny, frankly I have little sympathy for her. No three year old child needs breastfeeding - in private or in public.

Not that it is all that relevant, but the child is one year old - from the mother's Twitter account - and is her second child. Doubtless the 3 and a half years refers to the total years of breast feeding.
I find it difficult to regard anything this mother has done as attention seeking.
