Have The Liberal Left Gone Too Far?
28 Answers
What gives them the right to destroy their countries history? The left act as a mob and seem to think they should be immune from prosecution.
Until both sides pack in the violence, but particularly the left who also appear to think they can suppress freedom of speech with violence, I can see no end in sight.

As I said in the OP BOTH sides need to pack in the violence but what I see on the repies so far is the left supporters dont seem to want to condemn the violence of the left.
Now why is that?

Erm, I don't think there is much equivalency between on the one hand, descending on a town in a mob armed with assault rifles and riot gear and making nazi salutes (and killing someone), and on the other hand, protesting outside some statues and putting some washable paint/a jumper on them.
I do find the tearing down of one of the statues distasteful, mainly because it doesn't seem to have been done with local authority permission as was done in Charlottesville, and if you're going to get rid of a statue I think that's the way it should be done. I can't quite bring myself to get particularly angry about it though. Nor am I certain there is much equivalency between these people and the nazis who turned up over the weekend.
