Nothing Short Of Sexual Assualt
Imagine if a man had done this on the tube, a bus or in a nightclub, he would be before a judge before you could blink.
The police were so scared of upsetting people they didn't dare arrest him for fear of starting a riot.

That's just how I imagined a London bobby would act, grabbing as many random women as he can and rubbing himself against them in a good natured semi-erect kinda way. Makes ya proud.

this is from an old thread, it seems you agree that a man shouldn't put his hands on any woman he fancies.
It harks back to Dave Lee Travis's defence - 'I am a cuddly tactile person ...'.

\\That's fine, but it doesn't give you carte blanche to put your hands on any woman you take a fancy to, and expect her to enjoy it because you are the cuddly Hairy Cornflake.//
Interesting that you remember, and found that particular comment webbo - and I absolutely stand by what I said.
If you can find common ground between a man using his celebrity to behave inappropriately on multiple occasions because he thinks him being a celebrity means that every woman will want him crawling all over them - and a few seconds' incident with a drunken reveller and a professional police officer, then I can't.
The two situations are not remotely comparable, you are clutching at vanishing straws to make this incident into something it isn't.

Maybe try a little harder then.

webbo3 - // a slightly annoying idiot rubbing his crotch into you, so if a slightly annoying man did this to you on the bus or tube, standing in a queue you would think "its a bit annoying". //
That's not the situation though - is it?
This is not a man on a bus or a tube, and this is not a woman being assaulted - it is a reveller at NHC, having a bit of fun with a police officer, who is accepting it for what it is.
You cannot completely change the setting, the participants, the intent and the perceived reaction, and then say it is comparable.

How I can try and see something that patently does not exist!
If this officer felt she was being assaulted, or in any way uncomfortable, she would have been using her hands to fend the man off, not putting her hat back on, and she would have been looking pretty angry, not laughing.
Are you sure you are looking at the same clip as I am?

And no argument there.
But the whole point is, this is NHC, and as in any large party gathering, a little joshing with police goes on, and the police expect and accept it, and this is all that was going on here.
Some posters seem determined to see this as something it clearly isn't, for reasons I cannot fathom.

I repeat
You only have to focus on the officers left hand to know how she is feeling about this incident.
Watch it and then come back and disagre
