I can assure you that we women are perfectly able to deal with all of that ....erm... business without having an attack of the vapours or curling up with embarrassment.

12:29, that is an argument that could run and run because no-one here has experienced that situation.
The link @ 12:08 has a pretty good take on it including
///Through no fault of their own, women will often become the weak link in an infantry team. The men will have to take up the slack and this will engender resentment and reduce the cohesion that is so vital for effective infantry combat///

Whilst serving 3 tours of Northern Ireland, one of my deployments was working in COP(Close Observation Platoon). During such operations, where soldiers can remain for up to 6 weeks in a hide one is required to urinate in bottles and defacate into cling film.
Put a female into that situation, carrying out those functions in front of 3 other men with having the added function of menstruation. Would a female feel comfortable changing a tampon in such circumstances? The potential for compromise becomes far greater.
Will we really have sufficient potential female recruits to actually pass the current male requirements, then have the capability to go out on ops, covert, counterinsurgent or otherwise?
Will we? Really? Seriously?

As for women being psychologically unsuited for killing......

Whilst these women may well be 'terrorists' it shows that they can be just as dangerous (if not moreso) in life or death shoot-outs.

Well if women don't come forward or come forward and don't make the standard there won't be a problem and if they do come forward and make the standard then equally there won't be a problem. I am assuming that you practice voiding into bottles or cling film before you have to do it for real?

You boys might feel a bit uncomfortable whilst she's doing it, but she can hardly be expected to protect your delicate sensibilities....

Clearly not the first clue or idea of operational daily life in a close knit infantry unit.
As for changing altering menstruation routine, matters on ops change daily, sometimes hourly.
The enemy won't really tailor their operations and attacks to suit female requirements!
Have you actually read the two links from the female officers I provided?
The one's who've actually been there, done it and advocate that it's a stupid idea?
