When I first read it, I thought he'd *only* taken photos of the covered body. But to go back and uncover, then photo it, is somewhat bizarre and creepy behaviour. I can't understand that...maybe it's a bit like teetering on the edge of a precipice when you know you are in danger...a kind of compulsion.
Up until now the media has always known the lines not to cross, now we have an ever increasing competition to have the best picture/news etc. This leads to so called false news and this sort of thing.
As if the pain of seeing someone you love perish is such awful circumstances isn't enough, you then learn that some ghoul has photographed their charred remains and posted it on social media.
Would you have us set the bar for public decency a tad lower, YMB?
I dont see how what he did makes him a savage, as far as I can see he did not move or mutilate the body which would then make him a savage. To confirm: I totally and utterly disagree with what he did and I agree with the jail sentence.
I think he did it because he is a bell end nothing else.
I am with YMB on this one - previous generations of media would have drawn a line at obtaining unsuitable images, because there would have been no market for them.
Today, everyone is 'the media' and that obviously increases the chances of unsuitable people taking unsuitable images, and this is where we end up.
