Most 'traditional' dances serve a purpose; they allow the young men of a tribe to 'peacock', or demonstrate their hunting prowess, or their athleticism......and similar things in respect of the women-folk.
To cultures used to such displays they will be wondering what on earth the message is being demonstrated by use of hankies and bells....
AOG - It may have escaped your notice but the insolent and uppity foreigners were actually in their own homes (and countries) when they were shown the clips.
Surely you agree with the indigenous peoples of a country being able to give voice to opinions on other races/cultures from the comfort (sanctity) of their own homes?

I noticed that you conveniently missed out your previously bracketed words (and countries).
Lighten up AOG. Morris dancing is strange and funny if you've never seen it before. They're allowed to be bemused and amused by it.
There are already far too many twits in the world who can't wait to take offence at the slightest perceived disrespecting of their 'culture'. Let's not be one of them eh?
