Did AOG miss the ;-) at the end of his OP again? If he'd put one, this would be an interest thread. As it is, it's just another one of his illogical rants.
Now GG, we both know that not only incorporates funny dancing but also blacking up, I may need a bigger Meds trolley tomorrow now and I have a full day planned ;-)
Morris dancing is supposed to be lighthearted if not actually funny .
It is not Ballroom !
Basically it is an excuse for a good pi** up . Lots of Beer is essential !
No Kromo if you are English, you laugh at your heart's content at those Morris Dancers, I know that I do, but just look out for any foreigners laughing, then get into your 'very offended' mode and accusations of racism.
That's the way it works today isn't it, or at least for certain groups it seems to.

/// Your persistent seeking of racist news is beyond tiresome and shows you in a very poor light. ///
The likes of you may refer them as 'racist news' but I prefer to call them 'showing the other side of the coin', the side that some do not wish to see, as they much prefer to read how bad the indigenous Brits were and are.
But feel free to ignore my posts if they upset you so much, but I suspect you actually enjoy reading them and if I can attract such a wide following of, (in this case almost 100 posts on the subject of Morris Dancing), I know that I am doing something towards continuing to make this site so popular.
I enjoyed the thread for the diversity of dancing references made, I still fail to see anyone in hysterics in the accompanying article but the maybe the writer has never seen real hilarity - eyes streaming, holding your sides as they ache from laughter.
The middle group were more stoic and commented on how it showed different cultures had different traditions - admittedly one of them had a cheeky if quizzical grin.
What's more cheery than a dance thread, a good uplifting topic.
