Yup another nutter on the loose. Probably a cleaned out punter.
No details as yet, but it looks like this is another mad American, with a gun, rather an a terrorist.

It's certainly a madman (or madmen) not sure how you deduce it isn't terrorism with so little detail.
Nor me.

20 dead is being reported.
Just watched a woman say she was told by another women 45 minutes before the shooting they were all going to die
Stick to the UK?

Yeah, we don't have nutters at all, rampaging through our concert halls.
^^ Do you realise that under US medical law those injured will be entitled to free emergency medical treatment to stabilize their condition ONLY.
After that all ongoing treatment has to be paid for. Most of the injured will end up owing tens of thousands or even millions of $ in medical bills.
I asked on the US question site Quora, if in something like a terrorist attack the government would pay the medical costs of the victims. The answer was No, only sufficient treatment to stabilise their condition is free, everything above that has to be paid for. No insurance policy will cover things like a terrorist attack so the victims end up bankrupted by medical bills. Another reason I'll never go to the USA. It's not worth the risk.

Eddie, is Quora paying you to advertise?
yes good point from eddie, the US cannot be the "greatest country" with their barbaric health system.

A 64 year old man ... what on earth was his reason?
The BBC are now saying that 50 people are dead :::::

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-41466116
At least 50 dead, 200+ injured - an utterly appalling attack, the footage in the Twitter link is terrifying.

"Las Vegas Police say they have located the two vehicles they were looking for as well as the female person of interest.

The woman is Marilou Danley, who police say was travelling with the gunman before the attack."

Hopefully she'll be able to enlighten the police as to Paddock's motive.

I expect that the NRA will soon be on our TV's, telling us that its people that kill people, not guns.
It actually does make your blood run cold in your veins, such horror - and why?

Sickening.
God Bless indeed ...

My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!

Mental instability, with access to assault weapons....
a deadly combination, something we recognised here years ago, and dealt with appropriately.

I recall Trumps comments, after the Bataclan terrorist attack....he said something like......"if only the people in the concert hall had had access to guns, they could have fought back"

Can you imagine the carnage that would have occurred in Las Vegas, if the audience had started shooting at the lone gunman on the 32nd floor !
I have very close family members going to LV in a few weeks -(
Anne...this looks like a lone wolf attack, and hopefully it is a one-off, so I wouldn't worry unnecessarily.
