Heard news and extremely sad, as 66 is still young....he was an inspiration, a true legend in his field....He will be sorely missed. Thank you for your music.

I am seriously sad and upset.

I have always namechecked TP as my all-time favourite band.

I saw them on theirfirst tour of the UK - supporting Neils Lofgren, they wasn't even named on the ticket, they was 'Plus Support'. I had bought their album that week, on Shelter Records - still got it, and it was my abiding ambition to see them again and have him sign it for me. I was in Montreal when they played here in the summer, and now my chance has gone for ever.

Gutted, I mean seriously, gutted.

Same here Andy, one of the best debut albums. Nils and Tom both appeared on The Old Grey Whistle Test during that tour, I'm sure it'll be on Youtube. Always remember Nils on his trampet! Very sad.
